Appalachian Baby Tassel Cardigan Kit

This hooded cardigan topped with a classic tassel is knit with an exceptionally beautiful "knit below" stitch.

The kit contains a detailed pattern, four balls of our sport weight (776 yds), naturally pure organic cotton yarn, five U.S. wooden buttons (with instructions on how to hand paint--or leave natural!) buttons and a handmade tassel, everything except the knitting needles--US# 6 recommended.  Gauge: 9 stitches=2", 14 rows=2".

The pattern is written for an experienced knitter and the pattern is sized for a 12 month, 18 month or 24 month sized cardigan.

Knitting this sweater creates a family heirloom, destined to be passed on for generations. Our "Baby Soft" blanket has the same stitch and make a exception set of baby gifts.
